C4K’s production package has been carefully constructed to provide the highest quality and greatest flexibility while working in the field.
Carl offers camera combos that are designed to deliver consistently excellent images. C4K has added a pair of Sony FX9s which bring full frame imaging front and center, while offering the latest in color science and uncompromising autofocus capabilities. The Sony FX9 operates with a 6K CMOS sensor, the slam dunk auto focus tracking abilities ,the acclaimed S-Cinetone look and of course, all the raw LOG formats. A Sony A7sIII provides a matching camera component that can be added as an extra camera in a multi-camera interview set up, and it shines on the DJI Ronin-S Pro gimbal.
In addition, a Panasonic 5000 2/3” sensor ENG style camera is available for news and run and gun type situations. Like any tool, you need to find the right one for the job at hand and Colorado 4K Productions offers high quality options for your production.
The proper choice of lenses is vital to maximizing the video image. Carl has created a custom package of lenses designed to optimize each separate camera package. The Sony FX9 tandem is complemented with a range of Sony GMaster lenses which provide incredible light sensitivity, amazing bokehs and can engage the stellar focus tracking capability developed by Sony. The robust and versatile Canon CN-E 17-120 servo zoom lens and the utilitarian Sony 28-135mm servo zoom can be used across camera packages.
C4K has switched almost entirely to LED lighting, for both indoor and outdoor needs. BBS Area 48 fixtures are the primary interior key lights. LitePanels large and small, Westcott ice lights and other specialty LED lights make up the core of the indoor package. A new Aputure LS600d Pro combines with two AAdyn Tech Hurricane hi-power LED lights to provide a robust and versatile outdoor lighting package. And the Astra 6X Lite Panels serve double duty as great complementary outdoor lights. A Mathews 8x butterfly scrim, Westcott 6x and 4x scrim jims with a variety of silk, solid and black net inserts help carve and control light as needed.
In addition, C4K has a drone, a Ronin S-Pro, Rhino ArcII motorized three axis slider and a Dana dolly to help put your production in motion.
